I can describe myself as an enthusiastic, open-minded and genuine sun child who lives for warmth, health, and happiness. A daydreaming creative type who loves to travel and make beautiful memories along the way. Sunshine, amore and being around positive and beautifully spirited souls makes me the happiest. I guess you can say I am one very happy hippie!

Welcome to Happy Hippiez, a creative platform where I offer my yoga teaching, photography, food styling, and designing services.
Being artistic and playful led me to studying Arts, Fashion and Styling. Ever motivated by traveling the world, and learning about new cultures, I spontaneously decided to move to Italy a couple of years ago, where I enjoyed the beautiful land, people and food. Besides studying, I also worked as a fashion stylist and did a bunch of photoshoots in Italy, and when I moved back to the Netherlands, I continued doing photoshoots. Evolving even more, and following my many passions, I don't just stick to one single creative area, I love to work on different aspects. Like Neri Oxman once said; 'Choice is a form of compromise, no? So why choose if you can have both?'
Inspired by natural ways of healing, I love to learn about all aspects having to do with natural health. This led to me becoming a certified Nutritional Therapist, focused on natural, whole foods, and then graduating in Ayurveda, a system of medicine that originated in India, a system based on balance. Since healthy, plant based food is such a big part of my interests and daily life, this became a big part of my creative life as well. You can often find me in the kitchen, cooking up delicious vegan meals, styling the food in a beautiful, appetising way, and taking a bunch of photos of these delicious creations.
I truly found my authentic self and my true passion the more I started practicing yoga. I became a more serious practitioner when I discovered Ashtanga yoga, which has become my personal daily practice. I practice yoga six days a week. Through this love for the practice I decided to not only be a student of yoga, but to also become a teacher. I continue to learn and grow from my practice each and every day! Practice with me at HAPPY HIPPIEZ YOGA.
