Welcome to Happy Hippiez Kitchen. Let me introduce myself. My name is Desirée. I have had two different vegan foodie blogs in the past, and have always been interested in healthy eating and sustainable living. With a deep interest for a holistic approach to life, I decided to study natural nutrition and Ayurveda, one of the world’s oldest healing systems that originated in India.
As a certified nutritionist and natural food advisor, with a background in Ayurveda, I have always been inspired to create healthy and delicious meals. It has been my absolute dream to have my very own cookbook, and with Happy Hippiez Kitchen we made that dream into a reality. The book is filled with our favorite plant based recipes, and I poured my heart and soul into the creation of it.
In my spare time I like to practice yoga, be creative and take photos. I like cooking delicious and nourishing vegan dishes and can often be found outside. I am always happiest when surrounded by the people I love, and my sweet labrador.
